Various types of sensors for grippers including matching accessories for sensing piston and jaw positions.
Double check valves for temporarily maintaining the function of pneumatic grippers in the event of a drop in compressed air pressure.
The double check valve is mounted externally on the gripper modules. Four different sizes are available for selection. The pressure drop is < 0.2 bar at 2 cm3 test volume and 42 hours test time.
Dust covers for use of CGS grippers in environments that are highly susceptible to dirt.
The dust cover is made entirely of steel and can be mounted directly on the gripper. Two lateral end blocks, a large cover plate on the guides and two smaller cover plates on the two base jaws, in combination with special seals, increase the gripper’s resistance to external influences.
The pressure star for the CGS3 series integrates a spring-loaded element for pressing the workpiece directly into the centric gripper. The pressure star is mounted in the center between the three jaws of the gripper. When the workpiece is picked up, the springs are being compressed and held in this position. As soon as the gripper sets the workpiece down again and the jaws open, the pressure star is being pushed out by the springs and presses the workpiece against the stop of the fixture (for example a lathe). This ensures that small shape and position tolerances have no influence on the defined deposit position of the workpiece. Additionally the robot does not have to apply increased pressure forces that could lead to excessive wear or malfunctions.
The pressure star can be retrofitted to the CGS3 gripper, but replacing the wedge hook cover is required. The new cover is included in the scope of delivery of the pressure star.
The adhesive pads have a cylindrical dimple contour with a diameter of 2.5 mm. They are suitable for gripping coarse workpieces as well as the finest workpiece contours.
The adhesive pads consist of an aluminum/elastomer compound. A choice can be made between an aluminum plate with a thickness of 2 mm and 3 mm, which enables high stability as well as an optimum connection to the gripper fingers.
IPR’s tool changers increase the productivity of automated manufacturing systems by fast and safe changing of tools on robots or portals. Especially when high demands on reliability and precision are placed, IPR is the first choice. Since 1989 we have been supplying, supporting and advising large corporations and medium-sized companies from various branches of industry.
The new TKX product family revolutionizes the world of robot automation: Three drive technologies with endless application possibilities. In typical industrial applications as well as for use with light-weight robots and stationary applications, the new tool changers are the best choice. From now on, you can use a single system to equip every robot in your production – interchangeable and fully flexible.
The TK series offers a variety of different sizes for all load ranges in order to correctly dimension different applications, to meet the space requirements and to offer different price levels. The excellent quality of our tool changers ensures high availability and thus smooth operation in the production process.
The locking mechanism of the tool change system is realized by balls. The balls are pressed into a collar via a bevel. In the event of a drop in air pressure, they are held in the collar by a spring integrated in the piston chamber, thus ensuring that the force is maintained. A spring-loaded cover plate protects the locking mechanism from contamination. At the same time, the use of long centering pins allows optimal docking of the robot and tool sides. Of course, the coupling is contact-free.
The TK-Square series offers a variety of different sizes for all load ranges in order to correctly dimension different applications, to meet the space requirements and to offer different price levels. The excellent quality of our tool changers ensures high availability and thus smooth operation in the production process.
The locking mechanism of the tool change system is realized by balls. The balls are pressed into a collar via a bevel and are secured against falling out even in decoupled state. In the event of a drop in air pressure, they are held in the collar by a spring integrated in the piston chamber, thus ensuring that the force is maintained. The double safety lock prevents the tool side from loosening in case of pressure drop by fixing two steel bolts in a pool by means of a spring. Of course, the coupling is contact-free.
Storage systems for tool changers of the TK and TK-SQ series.
Add-on modules for the TK-SQ series for transmission of pneumatics, vacuum, hydraulics and other fluids.
For each attachment module, there is one version for the robot side and one for the tool side of the TK-SQ tool changer. After mounting the modules on one of the screw-on surfaces of the changer, transmission can take place in a coupled state. The contact pressure created by locking the tool changer reliably prevents leakage up to the maximum operating pressure.
Connector strips for tool changers of the TK and TK-SQ series for transmission of voltage, power and signals.
For each connector strip, one version exists for the robot side and one for the tool side of the tool changer. Spring-loaded contact pins with gold-plated surfaces ensure a continuous connection and transmission. Special plastic housings reduce the inherent mass and reliably protect the connector strips from external interference.
Adapter plates and mounting brackets for mounting connector strips as well as add-on modules on the tool changers of the TK-SQ series.
Matching cable plugs and cable sockets for assembling connection cables to IPR connector strips.
IPR load limiters increase the productivity of automated production lines by reliably protecting tools and workpieces from damages, detecting collisions and sending a signal to the robot to stop movement. Especially when high demands are made on reliability and precision, IPR is the first choice. Since 1989 we have been supplying, supporting and advising our customers from a wide range of industries worldwide.
Load limiter in three sizes with large center drill hole for internal cable and wire routing.
The robot and tool sides are held in position pneumatically and form a rigid unit under normal working conditions. The release forces or torques are specified via the set air pressure. In case of an overload the tool side gives way. A sensor detects the deflection and sends a signal to the robot controller, which stops the entire unit. Once the fault has been rectified and the tool has been brought back into a vertical position, the unit can be manually centered in its initial position using two integrated adjusting screws.
Load limiter in eight sizes with optional spring reinforcement and/or anti-twist protection.

IPR compensation modules increase the productivity of automated production lines by reliable compensating misalignments in x, y and z direction. Especially when high demands are made on reliability and precision, IPR is the first choice. Since 1989 we have been supplying, supporting and advising our customers from a wide range of industries worldwide.
Compliance wrist in eight sizes with optional load limiter, pneumatic cylinder and/or anti-twist device.
The adjustment of the position is made possible by specially developed elastomer elements. If a positional offset occurs, the workpiece to be joined is automatically moved by the reaction forces that occur in such a way that jamming and tilting of the joining partners is prevented. The maximum compensation movement is determined by the size of the insertion bevel on the parts to be joined and the maximum compensation movement of the elastomer elements. The compensation movement is horizontal in the X-Y directon and, in the case of angle compensation, radial around the X, Y or Z axis. After a deflection, the element returns to its initial position by self-centering.
Force-free lateral alignment device in eight sizes for compensating tolerances in the event of position offset in the X or Y direction.
The compensation movement is realized by linear roller guides according to the cross slide principle. The alignment is almost force-free. The unit can be locked in a central position by a double-acting pneumatic piston. For versions with cranked locking, the unit can also be locked in the deflected position by means of an adhesive pad on the locking mushroom by pressing the piston against the adapter plate mounted on the tool side.
Z-axis compliance unit in eight sizes with optional bolted piston rod for monitoring removal operations.
The vertical alignment is achieved by backlash-free ball guides, either in pull or push direction. By the additional control of the pneumatic cylinder the spring force can be increased. For monitoring an initial or assembly movement, the base plate is extended, for monitoring a removal operation it is retracted (only with optional screwed piston rod). For fast movements, the cylinder should also be pressurized to block the unit against uncontrolled deflection. An optional sensor detects the movement of the plate.
Matching elastomer elements in different Shore hardnesses for all joining mechanisms of the FM series.
Various types of sensors for balancing systems including suitable accessories for detecting a deflection.
