      • Services

      • Asset and facility management for renewable power plants need to offer competitive differentiation for the asset owner. Subsidy schemes in place today might still offer significant returns on equity, even without the best and most efficient plant supervision. This is about to change! Renewable energy power plants will need to be worked in a more professional mode to be compliant with overall energy system costs. This requires a value oriented approach to operation and maintenance. Operators need to move beyond ensuring mechanical functioning of the installation towards a long term strategy that covers the entire lifecycle of the asset. ENcome Energy Performance is your single point of contact, from technical and economic assessment of acquisition, through operation, including tuning and repowering where necessary, until divesture or dismantling.
          • Technical Operations

          • Operations of renewable energy power plants might seem simple. Still there are a number of levers that differentiate between over- and underperforming assets. Our strategy is to optimize technical operation, leveraging the effects of scale, in order not to over-service the installation but instead get the best performance at the lowest cost for the plant owner.

              • Acquisition support

              • The composition of renewable energy asset portfolios has in the past often been driven by availability and chance rather than strategic decision processes. Increasing size of investment portfolios and the evolution of a secondary market require investors to understand the impact of the diverse mix of technologies and geographies on their asset performance.

                  • Commercial Operation

                  • Even apart from technical operation, running an electricity generating asset is a complex task. Procedures for the sale of electricity vary widely, tax issues might require careful planning, and investors not only need to be paid but also want to be informed. Further, PV installations are accompanied by a number of contracts with third parties (e.g. insurances, banks) that need to be managed.

                      • Performance Improvement

                      • Feed-in tariffs are rapidly decreasing, we even have experienced temporary retroactive cuts to payments. Installations come of age, where some components might still perform excellently while others don‘t and prices for even better components are constantly lowering. There are many reasons for our performance improvement measures that easily pay off within a short time.

                          • Asset Disposal

                          • Renewable energy assets can operate for decades, but eventually they will reach the end of their life cycle. Furthermore, even if assets are still working, the expiration of land- or roof-rental contracts or the need to renovate roofs could lead to the need for the dismantling of an installation. Many of the components can be profitably disposed.
