                    • Fabric Engraving

                    • Fabric is quickly becoming a very popular material for both engraving and cutting. Natural fibers, as well as synthetic fabrics, are often cut and engraved with fantastic results with a laser system.

The best way to find out if your material works well with the laser is to contact our Applications Lab so we can test the material you will be using. Read below about a few of the different fabrics we've engraved with our laser systems, creating some very beautiful and unique products. When your done, be sure to check out our photo gallery and our Sample Club for examples of fabric engraving projects.
                    • Fabric and Applique Cutting

                    • Fabric is quickly becoming a very popular material for both engraving and cutting. Natural fibers, as well as synthetic fabrics, are often cut and engraved with fantastic results with a laser system.

You can also use the laser to create multiple-layer appliqué by placing multiple pieces of twill together, then kiss-cutting each layer as necessary.

From cotton, to suede, to twill, to nylon, a laser system can cut them all. Take your design from almost any graphic design software (that's right! There's no new software to learn!) and print it to the laser. In the print driver you'll select a speed and power for the material you are cutting. It's that easy!
                    • Laser Marking Plastics

                    • A plastic marking laser from Epilog is the perfect choice for marking plastic parts with barcodes, serial numbers and logos. This plastic marking system has a large 24" x 12" engraving area you can laser mark large parts one at a time, or load the table with a jig of parts to engrave hundreds at once.

By using Ytterbium Fiber Laser (1062 nm) technology, the laser quickly creates a permanent mark on your plastic part by reacting with the chemicals in the plastic to create a colored mark on the plastic, whether it is black, white, orange, or many other colors of plastic.
