      • Handle applicator SIAL performs the insertion of (PE) lateral handles on PET bottles (from 2 up to 5 liters). It is based on a rotary continuous system and is appropriate to be installed in the existing packaging line, on an existing conveyor and before the filling process.

      • Leak tester performs the control of big plastic bottle’s leakages and cracks, it avoids sending bottles with holes to the filling line. It is appropriate to be installed at the beginning of the filling line, before the cleaning system.

      • Our system VLS-R makes leak control on closed bottles/packaging through pressure decay test.

        Its simple, strong and high technology design make it highly reliable, sensitive and precise for productions from 6.000 until 24.000 bph (depending on model and headstock numbers of rotary system).

        It is an automatic rotary machine, with electronic equipment based on micro-processor AND&OR. The test is made in a bell closing hermetically, inside there are the closed bottles (full or empty), then the emptiness is made, and the evolution of pressure is calculated during a given period of time. Rejecting the bottles/packaging with a leakage at its output.

        CHARACTERISTICS

        Mechanical characteristics:
        • Kit made in stainless steel and fairing in PET.
        • Rotary bearing in stainless steel with ball bearing, axial radio and centralized coupling greasing.
        • Rotary group of continuous movements by hips, synchronized bells with headstocks, designed to create a tight camera around the bottle.
        • Machine supply by a worm gear screw through a conveyor belt with inlet/outlet stars.
        • Refusal unit for defective bottles.
        • Motor/inverter 0,75 HP and reduction drag motor, allowing to select machine speed and performance.

        Electronic equipment based on micro-processor AND&OR, allowing :
        • Automatic calibration of leakage detection.
        • Sensitivity 0.1 mbar (leak detection until 0,15 mm diameter, in 1L, independent from the bottle shape and temperature, and atmospheric conditions).
        • Selection of the bottle quality required (Premium, Normal).
        • Touch panel (Display) for parameters programming and visualization, production indication (bottle/hour), tested bottles number, good and bad bottles number, quantitative test result (leakage). Sign of illuminated or/and resonant alarm if it exists a defective bottle with value of the cause on screen.
        • Output for digital transmission of data to PC (optional).
        • Double air circuit (ozoned and normal).
      • Leak testers for filled bottles

      • Leak tester LT1 is based on an AND&OR electronic equipment.

        Its main mechanical characteristics are:
        • Metallic structure built in stainless steel.
        • Lateral test conveyors, adjustable in position thanks to a manual wheel or knob, which allows its adjustment without using any tools.
        • Fairing and protection according to the 2006/42/EC standard.
        • Working principle

        Its working principle is based on the calculation of the pressure gradient, measured laterally when the bottle is passing through the machine by two charge photocells of 5-15kg with 6,000 divisions (detecting leaks up to ø0.1mm in 1L bottles). This also allows the self-checking the equipment without being affected by any atmospheric changes.

        Application
        • Detection of cap defects or wrong capping.
        • Detection of bottle leaks.

        The command central unit has the following general characteristics:
        • Automatic calibration.
        • Parameters programming by touch panel: rejection delays and timings, type of bottle, maximum leak level allowed, conveyor speed (external or internal), etc.
        • Display of production data, number of good or defective bottles, leak levels in each test and maximum level allowed.
        • Light warning in case of several consecutive defective bottles.
        • Sensibility of 2g – equivalent to ø0.1mm leak in 1L bottles.
        • Rejection unit for leaking bottles to be installed at the input of the test conveyor.
      • Weight testers

      • Box weight tester 40CPL1-I detects if any bottles is missing inside a box.
        It is appropriate to be installed in the packaging line after the wrap around/box maker machine. It has an electronic system based on a microprocessor and its versatility allows changing the production rate and modifying the weighting parameters.

      • LSE V is a leak tester with an integrated vision system that offers a complete bottle quality control:
        • Inside neck flash

      • AND&OR manufactures all sorts of conveyors, including its belts or chains, conveyor beams, low friction guides and vacuum systems when required. The models manufactured are mainly:

        TC – Belt conveyors (sliding or adherent): straight conveyors.

        TCHP – Chain conveyor: built in stainless steel, they include a flexing chain so that curves can be used in a single motorized section.

        TCFL – Nylon chain conveyors: built with an aluminum conveyor beam and a nylon chain. Sharp curves can be made in small spaces. The greatest advantage of this type of conveyor is it is maintenance-free.

        TA – Air conveyors: pneumatic conveyors built in stainless steel. Guides regulation can be manual or automatic. They are recommended when working at high production rates with light, petaloids and/or unsteady bottles.
      • Depalletizers

      • Automatic depalletizer of plastic bottles to hopper/positioner.

        It includes elevator platform and pallet centering unit as well as a pallet input conveyor to allow some accumulation buffer (customized depending on client’s requirements).

        This equipment works with palletized bottles in inverted trays or sheets.

        Sheets/trays/pallets are automatically extracted and stacked nearby.

      • Debaggers

      • Bagging is a much more economic and hygienic packaging system compared to the traditional cardboard palletizing. Protecting the bottles against human handling or contamination by external agents is very important in certain sectors such as the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. AND&OR offers automatic debagging systems for glass and plastic bottles.
        Additional systems can be added depending on customer specific automation needs: bags depalletizer, automatic interlayer removal, pallet conveyors, stack for sheets or empty pallets, etc.

        SERIE DBM-CL:
        Automatic debagger for plastic bottles. AND&OR manufactures automatic baggers especially designed to allow an easy and automatic debag by an AND&OR’s debagger. Having closed the circle, AND&OR tries to make things easier to both, the blow molding and bottling industries. Debagger DBM-CL does not disarrange the bottles when opening the bag, thus, bottles can be positioned into the bottling line without an unscrambler. There are different models depending on the bottle size and shape, line speed, bags size, etc.

        SERIE DBM:
        Automatic debagger for glass bottles. Designed to work in multi-format lines, there is no need to do adjustments or setting changes in the control panel when doing a change-over. It is appropriate to be installed in clean areas (pharmaceutical industry).
      • Display palletizing

      • Bottle palletizer into individual or 1/2 trays. It is a semi-automatic system, ideal to work at low production rates. The tray and pallet supply is done manually.
        The maximum pallet height is determined by the height of the line (input bottle conveyor).

      • Flexible Palletizing. Robot Systems

      • Flexible palletizing for packs, boxes or filled bottles by an anthropomorphic robot, generally installed at the end of the filling line.
        It is a fully automatic palletizing system and includes the supply of cardboard or plastic sheets to separate the different levels on the pallet. It is also possible to include an automatic pallet supply.

        The system includes:
        • Packs/boxes/bottles conveyor from the line to the pick-up area.
        • Anthropomorphic robot, model selected depending on line specifications.
        • Gripper designed depending on line requirements. Adjustable to different formats without changing parts and flexible to handle bottles, packs, boxes, pallets or sheets.

        • Take out

        • TAC
          Height adjustable cordon conveyor.
          This system is completely automatic and efficient to collect bottles coming from rotary and linear blowers like SIDEL, SIPA or similar with ordered output. Thanks to this collection system it is possible to prevent all types of marks or damages.
          The system allows the adaptation to different bottles’ height without having to change the height of any conveyor of the line, which reduces the time for a change-over.

          REC
          Motorized belt conveyor.
          It is usually installed after the blower with a gripper take out system (with or without turning system).
          In cases where there are not enough meters to adjust the conveyor’s height to different bottles’ height, the cordon conveyor (TAC) might be added after the belt conveyor (REC + TAC).
          It can also be complimented with a mask if the bottles are unsteady while placing them over the belt conveyor (REC + MASK).

        • Trimming, milling and finishing

        • Linear trimming machine for plastic bottles with round neck.

          The CC linear trimming machine cuts the dome of plastic bottles. It is usually installed after the extrusion blow molding equipment which is no longer involved in the cutting phase.
          • The trimming profile is customized depending on the dome design of each bottle.
          • The linear system allows trimming bottles of different types without changing any parts, as bottles are guided by the dome during the trimming process.
          • The height of the knife is adjustable by a wheel.
          • It includes an ejection system for trimmed domes towards a collector funnel for later use.
        • Handle applicators

        • Handle applicator SIA1000 performs the orientation and insertion of polyethylene handles (PE) on PET bottles (from 2 to 20 liters). It is based on a machine with alternative movements (pick and place).

          It is appropriate to be installed either after the blower in blow molding lines or after the filler, within the filling line, over an existing conveyor and after the capping system.

        • Bagging machines

        • Semi-automatic bagging machine for preformed bag with an open side.

          It is usually installed after the blower and the leak tester.

          Operator intervention is needed to clear the formed bag and to place the new empty one. Each bag size requires a customized metallic tray, guaranteeing the best possible compactness.

          Maximum production rate: depending on bottle/bag format.

          Optionally:
          • It allows the packing of bottles into cardboard trays with an open side, integrated in the same machine.
        • Tray/box packing machines

        • Automatic bottle packer with three positions for preformed trays:
          • Inlet area, empty trays.
          • Bottles insertion row by row with gripper (pneumatic or motorized).
          • Outlet area, filled tray.

          Advantages over traditional semi-automatic packing desks into trays with an open side:
          • It allows handling unsteady bottles because the bottle is not pushed and slide but elevated by the neck and introduced softly into the tray.
          • It has more autonomy (two trays) allowing the operator to handle more machines.
          • It introduces 1 or 2 rows of bottles more than other automatic systems, optimizing transport costs per bottle.
        • Palletizing

        • Semi-automatic palletizer with layer configuration desk and later tray insertion by motorized frame to transfer the layer.
          • Pallet over motorized elevator platform.

          Autonomy of standard machine: a complete pallet.

          Type of packaging: Upside tray, inverted tray, cardboard sheet (1200×800, 600×800, 1200×1000, 600×1000 mm).
