With RoboScrub, a product of its Minuteman brand, the Hako Group presents an autonomous cleaning machine that has already proven its excellent performance capability in practical applications, from cleaning large production halls to warehouses and shopping centres. Even in complex environments, this compact scrubber-drier is able to navigate autonomously and safely, and provides superior cleaning results. In addition, the machine is extremely user-friendly, both in autonomous and manual operating mode: to carry out occasional interim cleaning, RoboScrub can also be used as a conventional ride-on scrubber-drier.
3D and 2D cameras at the front and sides as well as sensors installed in RoboScrub’s upper and lower areas provide machine vision and learning of new routes. All sensors and cameras constantly monitor and scan the machine’s environment for solid or moving obstacles. Once identified, RoboScrub circumnavigates the obstacle if possible or stops automatically.
Even autonomous cleaning technology needs someone to operate it, so user-friendliness was a very important aspect when developing RoboScrub. The intuitive touch screen on the left gives the user access to all relevant machine information during autonomous working. In addition, the user can select routes already learned by the machine or teach-in new routes while the machine is driving. The clearly structured operating console on the right ensures easy and intuitive control whenever RoboScrub is operated manually.
When it comes to autonomous cleaning, safety is a particularly crucial issue. A signal light indicates to bystanders that the machine is in autonomous working mode. If a critical situation occurs despite the integrated obstacle identification system, the machine can be stopped quickly and easily via emergency buttons installed next to the signal light and on the operating console.
Multifunctional outdoor cleaning machine in the 2-t class
The basic version of the Citymaster 650, designed as a compact implement carrier, already sets new standards in the 2-t class: for example with articulated steering, permanent all-wheel drive with a fully electronic control system and extensive features providing increased comfort and safety at work. Thanks to its multifunctional design, the Citymaster 650 can be retooled quickly and easily, for example as a professional sweeper or an efficient snowplough for winter service tasks, which makes this machine not only extremely versatile in use but also particularly economical as it provides multiple application options.
