  • THE SMART ALTERNATIVE TO LADDERS

    The Pecolift and Ecolift are the ideal alternative to ladders for working at low level heights (up to 4.2 m), since they are the only aerial work platforms that do not use batteries or hydraulics. This is why the Pecolift and Ecolift are known as “non-powered, powered access” making them an environmentally friendly solution for working at height.
    These eco-friendly alternative to ladders are more effective, faster, efficient and designed with the operator in mid. Just step in, turn the handle and raise to the desired height. There is no need to erect and dismantle a scaffold tower, climb steps, a ladder or a podium.

        If you are looking for a self-propelled product for low-level access, our range of products are light weight and offer up to 4.5 m of working height (dependent on model). These platforms are ideal when the application requires the operator to move quickly between operations or needs to move the platform while working height. This eliminates the need to ascend and descend to be able to move the machine into another position. Productivity is improved when using these machines: up to 12 times faster compared with traditional forms of access such as scaffolding, podiums or step ladders.

              Working at heights safely is an increasing concern for companies that care about the well-being of their employees. According to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE, Nov. 2021), one of the common causes of fatalities and major injuries while working at height are falls from ladders and through fragile surfaces.               The Power Towers solutions are designed with the user’s well-being in mind while working at height safely. Our ergonomic design allows operators to work comfortably over longer periods of time, while reducing the potential for musculoskeletal injury, stress, and fatigue. The operator just steps into the fully guarded safety platform, turns the handle, or presses a button to elevate to the desired height. The ergonomic design allows the operator to have both feet at the same level and both hands free to focus on the job activity while working comfortably and safely. Climbing up and down steps, overreaching and overstretching is virtually eliminated.

              There is a strong correlation between productivity and safety. The benefits of working at height safely and comfortably include improved work efficiency, increased worker satisfaction and morale, reduced sick pay and workers’ compensation claims, along with decreased absenteeism and employee turnover. The fully guarded platforms on our range of products allow the operator to just step in from the ground and elevate it to the desired height. As soon as the operator starts elevating the breaks lock automatically preventing the machine from moving horizontally and remaining in the same position. This allows the operator to remain stable and work at height safely.

              The operator can freely move in a 360-degree radius while both feet are at the same level and both hands free. Once the operator is in position the working height of the platform can easily be adjusted up and down reducing the need for bending, stretching and reaching. The result is a sustainable, comfortable and safe working environment so the operator can maintain concentration for a longer period of time improving work efficiency, productivity and quality.
