Industrial pump company
Debem is a cutting edge company specialised in designing, constructing and producing industrial pumps for highly demanding environments. Debem has been operating in the fluid transfer and movement sector for over 40 years.
The ATEX certified air-operated double diaphragm pumps, with their unique design and limited size, are ideally suited to be installed directly on industrial equipment for the chemical sector, to pump ink and paint, on printing machines, in oil circulation and in applications where moderate quantities of fluid must be pumped in small spaces. The CUBIC range includes the MIDGETBOX pump which is currently the smallest and highest performing pump on the market for the chemical sector.

DEBEM’s double diaphragm pumps of the RC line have been designed for all applications that require the pump to be controlled remotely or directly by the machine on which the pump is installed, for example, when measuring or dosing the product.
The RC pumps are always operated with compressed air.

All the pumps of the RC line are ATEX – IECEx certified, constructed in polypropylene or PVDF in the plastic version or in aluminium or AISI 316 L for the metal versions.

In recent years, our R&D department has developed and patented a new pump model, the FULLFLOW 502, a unique pump of its kind. The new FULLFLOW 502 pump is fitted with flaps instead of the classic ball valves, which allow the passage of large-sized solids, reducing at the same time the crushing normally associated to the passage through balls and cages. Even though the maximum diameter for the passage of solids of 45 mm is not exclusive, the uniqueness for this type of pumps lies in the maximum length of the solids: 600 mm. Similarly, the pump features an exclusive patented circuit positioned below, perpendicularly to the fluid chambers instead of being in axis. The fluid dynamics of this choice ensure that the solids transit outside the pump casing, following a linear path at a lower level to the pump. The maximum flow rate is about 530 litres per minute.

Debem’s magnetic drive centrifugal pump is the ideal solution for numerous applications. The complete lack of metal parts in contact with the fluids being pumped renders them ideal for working with acids and corrosive products.
The pumps are driven by a pair of magnets: the outer magnet is positioned on the motor shaft and transmits the motion to the inner magnet integrated with the hermetically sealed impeller. The magnetic drive centrifugal pump impeller (closed impeller) is not physically fixed to the motor shaft, thereby eliminating the need for seals and consequently any leaks of the liquid being pumped due to wear. Some of the main applications for these types of pumps are laboratory machines or medical equipment, photographic developing machines, galvanic and chemical industry, water treatment, aquariums, filtering systems, heat exchangers, silver recovery systems, graphics industry and in X-ray processes. Magnet drive pumps are made with a small number of components, making them very easy to maintain. The pumps are available in polypropylene (PP) or in Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF).

Magnetic driven centrifugal pumps from our KM series are a leap ahead in flowrates and energy efficiency. Born in collaboration with CDR Pompe, they retain and increase the excellent characteristics of the DM pumps, for heavier duty applications.
The MB SERIES consists of horizontal centrifugal pumps with a resin casing (polypropylene or PVDF). Their open impeller design allows them to pump even very dirty fluids with an apparent viscosity up to 500 cps (at 20°C) and small-sized suspended solids.
The MB horizontal centrifugal pumps are driven by an electric motor (Max. 3000 RPM). The flow rates vary based on the model and cover a range from 6 to 75 m3/h. Customers can choose between two different types of seals, based on their application: lip seal (TL) or mechanical bellows seal (TS).

The IM SERIES consists of vertical centrifugal pumps with a resin casing, supplied in polypropylene (PP) or polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). The high performance IM pumps are suitable for fixed installations (pump immersed directly in the tank) and are driven by an electric motor (Max. 3000 RPM). They provide flow rates that vary (based on the model) from 6 to 75 m3/h (180 m3/h for the IM200 model) and can pump fluid with head up to 40 m.

The EQUAFLUX pulsation damper is operated by the same compressed air that drives the pump. The air, introduced in the counter-pressure chamber (behind the diaphragm), creates a self-adjusting pneumatic damping cushion based on the pressure exerted by the pump.
Technical features
Debem pulsation dampeners can be used with fluids with a high viscosity and large suspended solids.
Customers can choose from a vast range of construction materials to achieve the best chemical compatibility with the fluid and/or the environment, without neglecting the correct operating temperature range. Specifications:
