With our brands Raab, Kutzner + Weber, NET and BOMAT, we are a leading supplier of environmentally friendly and energy-efficient stainless steel exhaust system solutions. Our philosophy is the “intelligent chimney”, a system of intelligently matched components to reduce emissions and realize energy savings.
Our product portfolio includes stainless steel flue gas systems, chimney components – such as fine dust particle separators, draught regulators, flue gas dampers, silencers, chimney fan – and heat recovery systems, both for private buildings and for commercial and industrial properties.
Perfectly matched to each other, these components ensure safety, equipment efficiency and emission reduction. All parts are made in Germany.

NET has been active in the field of heat recovery for over 20 years. NET has been part of the Raab Group since 2015.
Fossil fuel saving is our profession. For us, this task is not a business area like any other, because reducing the consumption of these fuels is a question of humanity’s existence. Every company has untapped potential for saving fossil fuels. It is our goal to help you to use this potential in your business as well.
The variety of different situations in production plants requires individual solutions in each case. In doing so, we are looking for ways that are already economical for users today, even with the still low energy prices.
Manufacturing our products on the “extended workbench” makes us flexible in case of fluctuating order situation and enables us to offer a wide range of products. The long-standing, good cooperation with our manufacturers guarantees at the same time a high flexibility and a consistently good quality.

Thermojekt® R and RB finned tube heat exchangers
The Thermojekt® R or RB is an efficient heat exchanger for heat recovery from clean and slightly polluted hot air or exhaust gases from oil and gas firing as well as process air up to 400 °C. Higher temperatures are possible on request.
This has a register of 12.5 mm high finned tubes made of high-alloy stainless steel (1.4571 / 1.4521).
The extendable register allows for easy and thorough cleaning. This is necessary if deposits have formed on the heat exchanger surfaces after prolonged operation.
During cleaning, the housing remains fixed. The register is extended after loosening the screw connection.

Thermojekt® SK vapour condenser
The Thermojekt® SK is a very efficient heat exchanger for heat recovery from the condensation heat of polluted humid air such as baking vapours or fume extraction systems contaminated with suspended particles.
With these units, the high condensation heat of the water vapour in the steam can be recovered.
The extendable register consists of plain tubes made of high-alloy stainless steel (1.4404/1.4571), which are very easy to clean.

Thermojekt® G and GB plain tube heat exchangers
The Thermojekt® G and GB is used for heat recovery on boilers operated with solid, liquid or gaseous combustibles.
The flue gas heat exchanger of the type series G and GB has a extendable register and is designed for flue gas temperatures up to 400°C.
On request, NET flue gas heat exchangers can also be produced as special designs for higher flue gas temperatures up to 500°C or even up to 1000°C.

Control engineering
The electronic control TJ-HRC is used to control the flow temperature, toggling bypass damper, if applicable controlling three-way mixing valve incl. sensor package. This is available in different versions.
Variant speed control
The main component of this version is a control of the charging circuit by a speed-controlled charging pump. This control is preferably suitable for heat exchangers of the Thermojekt R/RB type.

Here, the flue gas heat exchanger transfers the waste heat of the flue gas to the water that flows through the heat exchanger’s register.
This heats the water and cools the flue gas. The heat recovered from the flue gas can be used elsewhere. This results in considerable energy cost savings, especially in energy-intensive industrial operations.

Today, rising energy prices allow for shorter and shorter payback periods.
Flue gas temperature, burner output and operating hours determine how long the amortisation takes.

The extendable register allows for easy and thorough cleaning.
This is necessary if deposits have formed on the heat exchanger surfaces after prolonged operation. During cleaning, the housing remains fixed.
The register can be easily pulled out after loosening a few screws.

If heat is not required at times, the hot air or flue gases can be routed past the register through the internal bypass.
The bypass dampers in the heat exchanger are moved by a maintenance-free actuator outside the casing.
These dampers are controlled by a thermostat or a controller with a temperature sensor at the heat storage tank and the heat exchanger.

For applications with extremely high temperatures we offer an alternative with an external bypass solution. The hot flue or exhaust gases are led past the register of the heat exchanger ”Thermojekt ® R“.
This completely prevents any vaporization of the carrier medium inside the registers due to residual heat transfer.
It also reduces the transfer of heat from the bypass to the register to a minimum.
These features ( extendable register and bypass solutions) can be inserted/added to the descriptions of the individual types (R,RB,G…).

As the leading manufacturer of the original equipment for exhaust heat exchangers and a specialist for industrial waste heating solutions BOMAT is your first point of contact in the topic of condensing technology.

The acidifying elements contained in fuel oil or natural gas (e.g. sulphur) cause aggressive acids (such as sulphuric acid) to be formed during combustion and subsequent condensation. BOMAT neutralising and cleaning systems treat (neutralise) this acidic condensate so that it is suitable to be fed into the public waste water system.
Note: In Germany, Code of Practice ATV-DVWK-A 251 regulates the discharge of condensate from combustion equipment. Acidic condensate from condensing systems can destroy waste water pipework.

The aim is to reduce the greenhouse effect radically. Many communes are fulfilling a key contribution by modernising municipal buildings and substituting private landlords with special programs. However the possibilities for already existing heating systems are very often not used efficiently:

At the Premium AEROTEC plant directly on the Weser River, a special industrial pressurized furnace was installed for use in the production of aircraft fuselage parts made of carbon fiber composites.
Since very high flue gas temperatures and high pressures are generated during operation, a special flue gas system was a prerequisite. The planners found what they were looking for at Raab, which supplied the right product in the form of the ALKON stainless steel system.

The Caterman catering company in Luxembourg had Raab install the flue gas systems for its baking ovens.
A special structure made of steel girders is used for load transfer, and prefabricated wall ducts meet the requirements for fire protection.

In the stadium of the 1. FC Union Berlin “An der Alten Försterei” beats the heart of the real fans. Since summer 2013, the soccer arena with its numerous innovations can be fully used.
This also includes the heating system consisting of a CHP unit and gas condensing boilers, which was combined with a high-quality Raab flue gas system.

In Elterlein in the Ore Mountains, owner Axel Schmitz manufactures his unusual fireplaces in a historic industrial building.
When it comes to the flue gas system, he clearly relies on Raab quality.

Expansion of the heating center at Heraeus Quarzglas GmbH & Co. KG in Bitterfeld. In addition, a Bosch Unimat UT-L boiler with 2.5 MW was installed in the heating center.
Here, the complete planning of the flue gas system was carried out in the Raab project department in Neuwied.

A prime example of the conversion of industrial architecture from the turn of the century can be seen in Augsburg.
A special oven with combined gas and solid fuel operation was installed for food preparation. The associated flue gas technology comes from Raab and was expertly installed by a Raab partner.

As part of a modernization project, the complete heating system and the heating network at the State School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Neuwied-Feldkirchen were brought up to modern standards.
This also includes a three-flue gas system as well as Draught regulators and silencers.

The technical center was set up at the headquarters of MEWA Textil-Service AG in Wiesbaden.
Extensive tests for workwear take place there. One component of the new range is the customized five-pass flue gas system from specialist Raab in Neuwied, Germany.

Contemporary chimney technology and historic baroque architecture are not mutually exclusive.
A prime example of the successful integration of a modern stainless steel flue gas system is the historic town hall of Bad Windsheim in Franconia, Germany.
