Technology and Innovation
Professional Line Package
- "Chippertruck 2.1 -Professional Line" builds on absolute user-friendliness
Professional Line signifies an additional package. Basically, the idea is to set the machine up to make it as user-friendly as possible. In other words: The driver's everyday problems were analyzed and specific solutions developed.
The package is extensive and contains a range of different options. For example, the easyLight premium lighting package provides perfect lighting for the entire machine. We also added the professional tool system with its practical swivelling toolbox and ergonomic access together with the additional rear support. The cone splitter can also be ordered in addition to the professional line package depending on the machine type. This makes a combination of centric blower and add-on splitter possible as well.
A lot has happened to the controller as well. For example the package containsthe CFA2, which is the new draw-in regulator for our mobile chippers. Overallwe have carried out more than 30 major and minor modifications to the machine controller. For example, the machine can now start producing the first chippings less than 50 seconds after reaching the chipping location. That doesn't just make life easier for the driver, but it also increases the efficiency of the machine thanks to reduced setup time. The idea is to make the machine as efficient as possible durnig use. It shall be ready for action quickly, easy to operate and to maintain and, of course, flexible.
GFA / CFA / CFA2
- GFA - system ("Grinder Feed Assistant")
In the biomass processor sector, the new GFA System(“Grinder Feed Assistant”) is now in use. In this case, sensors detect both the rotor speed and the drawin speed and match these two parameters optimally to the shredder operation. This enables the highest-possible throughput performances to be achieved when processing garden cuttings, organic waste and bark through a consistent high engine workload thanks to the new GFA system. Unproductive stopping of the draw-in can be almost completely avoided.
CFA - system ("Chipper Feed Assistant")
All JENZ chippers with easy2 controlling its are now fitted with the innovative CFA System (“Chipper Feed Assistant”). This system allows the draw-in speed to regulate itself via the rotor speed with the aim of optimum woodchipping quality. The drawin speed is adapted so that reversing is avoided, but the pre-grip remains almost constant despite this. If the rotor speed decreases, the draw-in speed decreases as well and the engine can remain continually at its maximum torque in ideal cases. Unnecessary reversing or stopping of the draw-in, which loads the drive engine, can be almost completely avoided and this leads to an evenly high and engine-caring workload.
CFA2 - system
The CFA system has been further developed to become the CFA2 System in order to relieve the load on the driver
and maximise throughput. In this case to drawin speed does not regulate itself via the rotor speed but additionally
via the top roller.
easy2 controller
- The machine controller is the command centre of the machine, and therefore represents the interface between human and machine. The new easy2 controller is the successor of the previous easygreen controller. It consists of a touch display, the easy2TOUCH in addition to an additional operating element called the easy2SELECT Joystick. In the vehicle variation with the Cobra cabin version, the operating system has been extended with an additional operating console, the easy2CONTROL.
The easy2TOUCH display is the machine's command centre. Here, settings can be made by tapping the screen or using special pens/gloves. All functions which can be operated using the easy2TOUCH display can also be set using the easy2SELECT joystick. The operator can arrange settings to his requirements in a range of display menus. Limit values can be defined or special user profiles can be created in the configuration menus. Display menus enable representation of display instruments.
Furthermore, the easy2 controller contains fundamental new functions for the support of repeating operations. This includes the new setup/breakdown assistant with which the mobile chipper is ready for deployment even more quickly on site as well as the forward drive assistant which enables rapid relocation of the machine along the material.
