          • High cost pressure and the quality of clamping technology are the keys to selecting clamping devices. Labor charges, which are incurred as downtime when changing collets, directly influence manufacturing costs. Especially for small lot sizes, setup times are there- fore frequently a factor that negatively influences the profitability of production.                   • The cone expanding mandrel CenterGrip is designed without a draw bolt. Therefore it is also possible to clamp the whole length of blind holes.
                    The 6-segmented sleeves (CG30 = 3 segments) are based on the reliable Rubber-Flex® vulcanising technology and offers a maximum clamping length of 51.5 mm with 1 mm increments of the clamping diameter. Other clamping ­diameters and contours on request.

                  • The cone expanding mandrels KSD are particularly suitable for internal clamping of short workpieces up to a clamping-Ø 100 mm and this with outstanding runout characteristics. The components can be easily combined and the system can be mounted horizontal as well as vertical on usual motorspindles.
                    The sleeves are double-sided slitted and allow a faultlessly cylindrical clamping. The length endstops are delivered in soft rough-turned version in order to enable you to modify them to the suitable length.

                                          • This new developed tool clamping system is functioning without springs. The pneumatic two-way power cylinder SLE transfers the pull force via a freewheel pull-bar directly to the piston of the mechanical intensifier KV. The piston acts directly on the tool gripper and locks self-impeding the tool in clamping position. The releasing of the tool is carried out by a reverse force created by the two-way power cylinder SLE.The automatic tool clamping system KVSL can only be operated with Ortlieb TG tool grippers.

                                              • The Ortlieb HSK-tool grippers are the basis for safe and reliable clamping of HSK-tools. For the first time it is possible to offer maintenance-free tool grippers by the use of ceramic on the functional surfaces in connection with a wear-resistant hard coating. After a one-time initial lubrication the tool gripper is clamping up to 3 mio. cycles without loosing any clamping force.

                                                The permitted clamping force is up to 200 % (HSK A50) higher than the by the standard DIN 69893/69063 recommended minimum clamping force. This ensures a safe tool clamping also at high loadand high rotation speed.

                                                Intelligent designed mounting fixtures are assuring shortest mounting or changing time for the tool grippers.                                                 The ASCA servo spindle now provides a real alternative for applications that were previously reliant on hydraulic drives.                                                             The shaft of the torque motor is in the form of a screw at the output end, to drive the nut directly.
