Honored at the German SME Summit: Ranga Yogeshwar congratulates sera GmbH from Immenhausen on receiving the TOP 100 seal. The award ceremony, part of the Summit, took place on Friday, June 28, at the Congress Centrum Weimarhalle for all SMEs awarded the TOP 100 seal earlier in the year. The science journalist mentors the innovation competition, now in its 31st year. Sera excelled in size category C (over 200 employees) in “External Orientation / Open Innovation” during the scientific selection process. This marks the second time sera has been recognized as a top innovator.

Honoured for innovative strength and future orientation

The sera Group impressed the jury of the innovation competition in all five categories: Innovation-promoting top management, climate of innovation, innovative processes and organisation, external orientation/open innovation and innovation success.

“The renewed award as TOP 100 Innovator is a great honour for us and at the same time a confirmation of our continuous efforts in the area of research and development,” says Carsten Rahier, President and Executive Chair of the sera Group. “Innovation is a central component of our corporate culture and the key to our success.”

Hydrogen technology as an important driver of innovation

The sera Group is placing a particular focus on the development of innovative solutions in the field of hydrogen technology. “Hydrogen is an important energy source of the future and we see great potential in this market,” says Rahier. “We are proud to make a contribution to the energy transition with our products and services.”

TOP 100 seal as an incentive for the future

The TOP 100 Innovator award is both an incentive and an obligation for the sera Group. “We will continue to do everything we can to develop innovative and future-orientated solutions in the future,” says Rahier. “Our goal is to continue to be one of the leading companies in our markets.”
