Avantes: Distributor Training 2024

This past week, Avantes hosted a distributor training event at our headquarters in the Netherlands. The two-day event aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of our global distributors, ensuring they are well-prepared to offer top-notch service and expertise to customers worldwide. The event focused not only on training but also on building relationships, sharing knowledge, and strengthening the community among our global partners.

Day One: New Products Training

Distributors from around the globe arrived at our headquarters, excited to dive into the sessions we had planned. The first day was dedicated to new product training, providing our distributors with in-depth knowledge about our latest offerings. Our team delivered presentations on upcoming projects as well as our new products’ features, functionalities, and benefits.

By the end of the day, everyone had a comprehensive understanding of our latest technologies and how they can be leveraged to meet the needs of various industries.

Evening at the Openlucht Museum in Arnhem

After a day of learning, it was time to unwind. We hopped on the bus to visit the Openlucht Museum in Arnhem, a unique open-air museum that offers a glimpse into Dutch history and heritage. The museum’s setting, with its historic buildings and lush gardens, provided the perfect environment for a relaxing evening.

The guided tour was both educational and entertaining. Our distributors were captivated by the stories and exhibits that showcased the traditional Dutch way of life. The museum offered a great insight into the Netherlands’ past, from historic farmhouses to windmills. It was a nice experience that allowed our guests to understand Dutch culture and history better.

After the tour, we gathered for a delicious dinner at the museum’s restaurant. The dinner was an opportunity for our distributors to bond over good food and great conversation and even watch some football together. It was great to see new friendships forming and old ones strengthening as everyone shared stories and laughs.

Day Two: Measurement Techniques and Product Applications

The second day of training was dedicated to various measurement techniques and how our products can be used with these techniques. Our distributors were divided into three groups and rotated through different training stations. Each station focused on a specific set of measurement techniques, with live demonstrations provided by our trainers. This hands-on approach allowed the distributors to see first-hand how our products perform in various applications.

The live demonstrations were a highlight of the day, showcasing the practical use of our technologies in real-world scenarios. Distributors had the chance to ask questions and interact with the equipment, gaining valuable practical experience.

Building a Strong Community

As the event drew to a close, we were happy to receive positive feedback from the distributors about the training days and activities. The training equipped them to serve our customers better regarding our products and reinforced the strong sense of community that defines Avantes.
