The CR3000x2 is equipped with an 8 GB or 16 GB ring memory, depending on requirements. This doesn’t just fulfil a purely data storage function. The CamRecord is operated via a trigger; in other words, via a shutter release. After you have starting recording, the CamRecord stores the relevant image sequence even before you activate the trigger. The recording then continues for a set time, as ultimately you’re working with particularly fast processes. The sequence is backed up in the ring buffer, and that’s how the CamRecord takes account of response times entirely automatically.

Using the 16 GB memory, it can store the recording over a period of 11 seconds, at full resolution and speed. This option for checking more extended process flows is of particular benefit if it is difficult to assess the particular point at which a fault arises in the process. Other models in this performance category are often only offered with a 4 GB or 8 GB memory. With 8 GB, the recording time is around 5 seconds.

                  Working anywhere
Whether it’s needed in the laboratory, at external sites or for crash tests, you can expect high performance every time, every place and everywhere from Optronis’ CamRecord. In fact, with its sturdy housing and no ventilation slots, it is best equipped for such conditions. That’s why your CamRecord is particularly well suited for use outside. Fixtures for attaching a tripod to various sides of the housing make these high-speed cameras even more versatile.

The CR3000x2 offers exceptionally high light sensitivity. Using ISO12232, up to 5,000 ISA/ASA (gain 1, Snoise 10). This means that you have a clear view of your subject even in poor light conditions.

                  Interfaces

There are several connections on the robust aluminium camera housing:
                  • Mechanical interface Sturdy stainless steel camera mount with either 4 x M4 screws or photographic thread (¼-20 UNC)
                  • Fast GigE interface High download speeds from the image memory to the memory of the connected PC
                  • HDMI video output Recording situation monitoring during recording
                  • Ring memory with data trigger VGA video output
                  • Trigger for image changes External trigger and synchronization interface Connection for various trigger sources (e.g. mechanical switch) and synchronization to motion-dependent image refresh rates
                • CR600x2

                • The CR600x2 is the Optronis slow-motion camera of CamRecrod series with the highest light sensitivity, at up to 12,000 ISO/ASA. Fast movements are reliably recorded with exposure times of as little as one (1) microsecond (1 millionth of a second). The camera takes 500 images per second at full resolution (1,280 x 1,024 pixels), although the resolution can be freely configured in the X and Y orientation. Lowering the resolution increases the image refresh rate or, if the image refresh rate is kept the same, extends the recording period. Typical applications are in the range from 50 to 10,000 images per second. The camera housing is free from ventilation slots.

                  Works with standard lenses
Designed with a sturdy camera housing and no ventilation slots, the CamPerform series is ideally suited for industrial applications. What makes these cameras particularly user-friendly is the possibility of using standard lens attachments.
                  • C-Mount For microscopy applications or for optimal adjustment of the image sensor to the ROI (Region of Interest). C-Mount lenses are particularly suitable for applications with high image refresh rates (frames per second) with a simultaneously wide aperture.
                  • F-Mount With adjustable or mechanically adjustable aperture ring, Nikon-F lenses can be adjusted very easily to the object to be recorded.
                  • EFS-Mount Canon mount with electronically adjustable aperture and focus
                  • FMG-Mount For standard applications with lenses available in the photo trade with Nikon G-mount lens connectors. The aperture is adjusted using the ring located on the mount.
                  • M42-Mount Industrial lenses with the choice of x1 or x0.75 (T2) thread pitch.

                  Ring memory

The CR600x2 is equipped with an 8 GB or 16 GB ring memory, depending on requirements.

Using the 16 GB memory, it can store the recording over a period of 26 seconds, at full resolution and speed. This option for checking more extended process flows is of particular benefit if it is difficult to assess the particular point at which a fault arises in the process. With 8 GB, the recording time is around 13 seconds.

              • Streak-Camera

              • STREAK SYSTEMS – OPTOSCOPE
Streak camera technology was developed for measuring ultra-fast optical phenomena. OptoScope streak cameras provide temporal resolution down to the Picosecond regime. Additionally, OptoScope systems have high sensitivity allowing single photon detection. Streak cameras are the only instruments that can capture the behavior over time of multiple optical signals. Combined with a spectrometer this allows their application in the field of time resolved spectroscopy.
                  • OptoScope SC-10 Systems

                  • SC-10 systems are based on the SC-10 main unit. These systems provide a high degree of flexibility and cover a large range of applications. High temporal resolution of 2 ps can be obtained. The main unit integrates a streak tube with quartz input window to allow light detection from UV to NIR. Sweep units for triggered operation as well as synchroscan operation are available. Furthermore, it is possible to add a second sweep unit with orthogonal deflection.

SC-10 systems are well suited for time resolved spectroscopy as they are flexible and they provide a wide range for optical coupling. For applications in detonics and plasma physics the 2-dimensional active area can be used to image the target area and consequently to simplify alignment.
                  • OptoScope SC-20 Systems

                  • SC-20 streak camera systems have a particularly large detection area of 35 mm x 4 mm as well as a large useful screen with 40 mm diagonal. Optical signals are focused onto the fiber optical input window without requirement of demagnification. A version with UV fiber optic input window is proposed. The slit mask is used in direct contact with the input window. The mask can be exchanged. Alternatively to a fixed slit, the input optics can be completed with an adjustable slit and coupling optics as well as object lens mount and shutter. The SC-20 systems provide sub-Nanosecond temporal resolution for applications in the field of detonics and plasma physics research.
