        • S41

        • The Salona 41 is combining all the latest innovations implemented by our company in recent years, giving us a clear lead on our competition. Her sleek deck lines follow her older sister the Salona 44 giving a spacious and obstacle free cockpit with an easily convertible closed to open transom.

The two steering wheels are a trade mark of this comfortable boat with absolutely no compromise on sailing equipment. An easily adjustable genoa and mainsheet system helps in trimming sails and gives you ability to furl the genoa without sending crew forward to adjust the leech, this together with single line reefing mainsail gives total "all from cockpit" security and sailing potential. The beautifully arranged Harken under deck furler lets you take full advantage of the wind and with her narrow lines and low displacement allows you to fully use the 140% genoa in as little as 5 kts of wind instead of resorting to motoring.

Construction is one of strong points of the Salona yard. A big stainless steel frame takes loads from the keel and shrouds and spreads them securely to a wide area of the hull. The slamming zone is single skin to avoid shear failure of core material under heavy loads, the area is additionally reinforced with layers of triax E-glass fabric. The deck is sandwich built with a structural design incorporating a ceiling inner liner to better withstand high longitudinal and transverse loads. The construction is stiff, strong and light giving a very seaworthy boat which will withstand high loads from rig, wind and sea conditions.

Last but not least Salona 41 is another fast performance cruiser built in Split, Croatia as a result of team work, designed together by J J and Salona Development team and optimised by Mauricio Cosutti within IRC and ORC rule.

          • S44

          • Performance seems to be one of the most distinctive and recognizable features of Salona range and like always special attention has been paid to light and strong construction accompanied by the most advanced technology that has Ocean A registry certificate. It can be concluded from her modern layout, that the priority has been given to the idea of making her livable on board. Both exteriors and interiors offer functional and elegant space for pleasant family cruising and exciting racing experience.
As her predecessors, the Salona has kept her elegant open Mediterranean style combined with safety provided with the protected areas which make her suitable for Mediterranean winter sailing as well as for the North Sea conditions.
The Salona 44 offers a more generous sail plan than her predecessor the Salona 45, but not at the expense of ease of sailing or sure footedness. With its design ingenuity, the increased sail area is expertly complemented by the latest design thinking in her underwater lines. This improvement together with her efficient and well balanced keel, ballast and rudder arrangements will make the sailing on the new Salona 44 pleasant under any conditions.
The Salona 44 will prove to be not only a safe and luxury cruiser but also an exciting, competitive yacht under both the IRC and ORC racing rules. The Salona 44 offers a new level of refinement and sophistication which is accompanied with the ability to cruise in a relaxed, yet confident manner or to perform to the highest levels in both IRC and ORC regattas. The ship yard also offers expert advices for different handicap optimization with special racing oriented packages.
Salona 44 prototype was tested by Dean Barker, Emirates Team NZ America’s Cup skipper.

            • Our new sailboat marks the entrance of Salona into a completely new market segment- the market of luxurious semi-custom yachts.
It is a sailboat with an uncompromised sport design signed by America’s Cup designer, Jason Ker. The elegant exterior offers a vast area for outdoor living while the elegant lines of the hull guarantee good performance for which the Ker’s projects are famous all over the world.
On the other hand, Salona maintains the spirit of modern, elegant interior that is designed according to the preferences of the owner, and its principal characteristic is a clear communication with the environment. Lateral openings of the sailboat do not serve the decorative purpose only, visual contact with the surrounding and great amount of the natural light create a completely new, relaxing atmosphere in the whole space below deck.
In combination of natural materials and modern textures in the interior, the most advanced technological solutions in the construction of vessels and elegant layout that characterizes our sailboats, Salona definitely introduces a new breeze of freshness into the market.
