        • With the CHIRON five-axis series machining centers you can produce the highest quality machining operations such as slots, holes, pockets and tight geometries with high process stability. The unique CHIRON basket tool changer combined with fast rapid feeds in X / Y / Z axes and the dynamic NC tilt rotary tables reduce non-cutting times to a minimum.
        • Multi Spindle Machining

        • CHIRON twin-spindle machining centers are setting productivity records. The simple formula is: twice the number of work-pieces in the same amount of time. With two high-performance spindles, several work-pieces can be completely machined at the same time on up to 5 sides in one set-up.           • The CHIRON FLEXCELL UNO is a compact unit consisting of machining center and robot cell as a low-cost solution for fully automated loading and unloading of work-pieces during machining.
            Since the FLEXCELL UNO can be equipped with multiple grippers on the robot, it can be programmed to perform flexible tasks such as de-burring, gaging, blowing and re-fixturing.

            • Mt Technology

            • Double productivity by simultaneous milling and turning
              With two new machining centers, CHIRON is now also offering simultaneous milling and full-fledged turning at the highest speed. The simultaneous use of two tools means double the productivity and significantly reduced throughput times.
              The modular assembly of the FZ08 MT and FZ12 MT with swivel head, turning spindle, tool revolver and optional opposed spindle enables customer-specific configuration of the machining centres and their use in many fields.
            • Tool Changer

            • CHIRON’s patented tool change systems are quick, safe and trouble-free with highest positioning accuracy with tool-to-tool times of 0.5 seconds and chip-to-chip times of 1.2 seconds. These time savings can add up hundreds of hours in a year, saving valuable production time.
            • Workpiece Changers

            • Chiron offers several different index table configurations on our machining centers. The use of work-piece changers allows for the loading and unloading of the machining center during the machining cycle, thus minimizing machine wait time. Other features of our work-piece changers are:

            • Innovative Linear Technology

            • CHIRON provides certain machine models with fast linear motors in X and Y axes for specific machining operations. Glass scales and digital drives enable high acceleration with equally high contour accuracy. The linear motors operate without wear, are maintenance free and provide for rapid traverses up to 90 m / min with high precision. The integrated water cooling provides excellent thermal stability and a consistently high accuracy.
