  • Tube Couplings

  • AVIT tube connections with O-ring sealing are based on the tried and tested 24° cone connector system (referred to as DKO) bore form W according to DIN 3861 and ISO 8434-1.
    The leakage protection is basically achieved by the double sealing integrated into the system: the seal provided by the metallic cone and the O-ring seal. Further technical advantages of this connection are:
    • Low setting behaviour of the screw connection
    • Long-lasting seal of the connection (5 year guarantee 1)
    • Arbitrary repeat assembly with silver-plated stainless steel union nuts. No cold welding in the thread.
    • Highly cost-effective because there is no maintenance

    • Flanges

    • The line of AVIT flange products, which features standard connection dimensions in accordance with ISO 6164, has been continuously expanded and improved throughout the decades. Changes in the design ensure a flange connection that is more reliable, compact, robust and maintenance-free than conventional SAE-, ANSI- or DIN -/ EN-flange connections.

      Due to different flange head lengths the dividing joint was shifted to achieve an asymmetrical division. The flange head is centred in the counter loose flange. This relieves the bolts of transverse forces which are responsible for the possible loosening of a connection. The leakage path is diverted in case of a gasket failure, in order to prevent potential source of danger. Assembly is easier and more precise due to the centring and the loose flange system. This eliminates misalignment in the pipe and any related turbulences or flow losses.

      • Pipe Swivel Joints

      • AVIT pipe swivel joints are pipe components that can move under pressure. They are suitable for use with rigid pipework or can be used with hose connections that require protection against torsional loads. All types allow a continuous rotation and swivelling in either direction at low speed. The type DKG swivel joint feature additional angle compensation of up to 7.5° along the axis of rotation. AVIT pipe swivel joints are used in various industrial applications and are suitable for liquid or gaseous media. Different versions ensure a reliable seal in use with high internal pressures or vacuum. The standard maximum temperature is 80°C.
